COURSES UNDER CONSTRUCTION
- Revolution GC, Charlotte, NC. This nine hole inner city course is under renovation and is scheduled for grassing in the summer of 2010. Two completely new holes plus new portions of three other holes make up most of the renovation work however all of the holes are being renovated. The course should re-open in the fall of 2010.
- Hollow Creek Preserve GC, Woodside Plantation, Aiken, South Carolina is under construction in a two phase effort with ten holes completed in the summer of 2007. The last eight holes are on hold due to the economy. This course is a co-design with Fuzzy Zoeller and is being constructed by Wadsworth Golf Construction Company.
RECENT OPENINGS
- Norwood Park Golf Club, Southwell, England, is adding a 9 hole par 3 course to the existing Clyde Johnston-designed 18 hole golf course. Construction started in the summer of 2006 and was completed in the late summer of 2008. The course opened for play in April of 2009.
- Fort Mill GC, Fort Mill, SC, renovation during the spring and summer of 2008 involved all of the tees, bunkers and greens on this Donald Ross/George Cobb course.
- Wexford Plantation GC, Hilton Head Island, SC, completed the renovation of all greenside bunkers in the summer of 2008.
- Hollow Creek Preserve GC, Woodside Plantation, Aiken, SC, completed 10 holes and opened for play on October 6, 2007.
- Old South Golf Links, Hilton Head, S.C., completed a bunker renovation in the spring of 2007.
- Springfield Golf Club, Ft. Mill, S.C., completed a practice facility renovation in the summer of 2007.
- Cherokee Plantation GC, Yemassee, S.C. completed a renovation of the fairway on the 6th hole and practice range target bunkers in the summer of 2007.
- Champions Pointe GC in Memphis, Indiana is a co-design with PGA Tour Player, Fuzzy Zoeller. The course was built by Oliphant Golf Construction of Madison, Wisconsin. The course was completed in the summer of 2006 and opened in June of 2007.
- Wilmington Island Club, Wilmington Island, Georgia completed bunker renovations to their 16th and 17th holes in the summer of 2006.
- Eagle Landing GC, Jacksonville, Florida: The course has completed construction with contractor MacCurrach Golf Construction performing the work, and is scheduled to open in the fall of 2005. The project is located within Oakleaf Plantation, just southwest of Jacksonville, Florida and is being developed by East West Partners. The course opened for limited play on December 15, 2005 but the official opening took place in the spring of 2006.
- River Landing, Wallace, North Carolina. The fourth nine holes of golf (part of the Landing Course) has completed construction for this highly regarded residential development. Construction is being handled by MLI, Inc. and Wells Brothers Construction. The course opened June 22, 2006.
- Moss Creek, Hilton Head, S.C. completed a total renovation of their practice facilities in the summer of 2006.
- The Palmetto Course at The Landings Club on Skidaway Island , Savannah, Georgia began renovation in April, 2005 with primary emphasis on tees, bunkers, paths, drainage and irrigation system improvements. Southeastern Golf Construction is the contractor. The course reopened November 9, 2005.
- Spanish Wells GC, Hilton Head Island, SC has completed renovations of its nine hole facility with construction by MacCurrach Golf Construction of Jacksonville, Florida. The course reopened for play on September 17, 2005.
